Our progressive HD video player makes it easy for you to add dynamic video content to html/flash web sites; supports both FLV/MP4 (HD - H.264 codec) formats. Sold as a complete package consisting of all the necessary code files and support; we also provide an online training video to demonstrate how to embed the video player on your website. We also provide you with additional external resources, on how to convert your video files into the flv format, and information on the H.264 codec (HD).

Easily change video and optional title (hyperlink) by using any text editor (i.e. Notepad) to modify the XML configuration files that serves as the player's video and Title (hyperlink); allowing you to benefit from an external vidURL and titleURL that you can change without modifying any Flash source files.

Superior Visual Interactivity
Visual interactivity that provide your audience with a more dynamic video experience;

An optional title that acts as a hyperlink (titleURL); use it for call to actions i.e. “Buy now”, “Book online!” etc… You can also configure the titleURL to receive email from your visitors'. Great tool for directing users to your product/service landing page or affiliate links – what you’ve got here is an in-built capability for Video ads or infomercials. This is a POWERFUL feature. (Styled with an applied glow filter and embedded font (Myriad Pro))

Initially, the titleURL is positioned on the top-right of the player (font size 12), upon video completion the titleURL is positioned to the centre of the video screen (font size 18); to further emphasise the titleURL.

Marketing TIP: Nothing grabs our attention more than video; video is now a standard on both business & social websites; and because we like it, we are exposed to it on a daily basis. Once you’ve sparked your visitors' interest, ensure that your product/service landing page has prominent product image, description and Buy Now buttons etc… in place, thus making it easier for your visitors to purchase – smooth transitions = greater PROFIT conversion.

Note: Besides being able to include and exclude the optional titleURL, you can also provide a title for your video with the hyperLink removed. These features are demonstrated within the Scopos Online Video Tutorial.

Animated semi-transparent central Play/Pause toggle button; allows your audience to control basic Playback, simply by clicking on the video screen.

Custom right-click contextual menu; providing additional viewing options and controls; Play/Pause toggle (also activates the animated central Play/Pause toggle button), enter/exit fullScreen with controls.

Standard fullScreen button; that allows your audience, to enter fullScreen mode without controls and custom right-click menu; revert to default contextual menu and exit (press ESC to exit).

Fit-to-stage toggle button; maintain_aspect_ratio and exact_fit; allowing different video size dimensions.

IMPORTANT
To avoid dimensional size issues the SCOPOS video player uses a default scale mode set to VideoScaleMode.MAINTAIN_ASPECT_RATIO, providing an approximate aspect ratio of 4:3.

The player is also equipped with an additional scale mode of EXACT_FIT, which can be entered by clicking the fitToStage toggle button (located next to the volume button); specifying that the video be displayed at the height and width properties (420 x 280) of the actual video screen.

It is highly recommended to use a (640 x 360) video dimension (when encoding your flv files); to achieve smoother and visual video playback, and to fully utilize the scripted features of the fitToStage toggle button. And MP4 dimensions at (1280 x 720). But please, feel free to experiment.
